Joseph S. Horrigan Will Be Greatly Missed

JshJoseph Stewart Horrigan was born in Houston, Texas on November 22, 1938. Horrigan passed away at his home on the 29th of this past July when he lost his brief, but courageous, battle with leukemia.

Horrigan received his B.A. from Duke University in 1961 and earned his J.D. from the University of Texas in 1964. He was a well-known probate attorney and was considered an expert in his field. Horrigan founded the probate firm Horrigan and Goehrs, LLP in 1986, was a Fellow of the American College of Probate & Trust Counsel, Board Certified Probate & Estate Planning by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a member of the American, Texas & Houston Bar Associations, and was an author and speaker for a number of continuing education legal programs. Horrigan was also designated a “Texas Super Lawyer” by Texas Monthly Magazine. He loved to read, golf, and fish and will be greatly missed.
