Whistle Blowing Grandson Of Brooke Astor Loses Inheritance

Brooke AStorPhilip Marshal took the hard road and turned in his father when he discovered abuse of his grandmother Brooke Astor. His father ended up with a three year jail sentence for stealing from the estate and with little regard for his son seemingly. Phil was disinherited in favor of his fathers second wife and her children but he is introspective about it. Protecting his grandmother and doing the right thing meant more than the money Phil stated in a recent interview.

See Barbara Ross, Brooke Astor heir Anthony Marshall leaves sons out of his will; millions will go to second wife and her children, New York Daily News, June 10, 2015.
