A descendant of founding father John Adams has requested that a trust created by Adams be returned to the family. The Adams Temple and School Fund trust was created by John Adams in 1822 and is currently managed by James DeGiacomo, with The Woodward School for Girls being the beneficiary. The attorney for Adams descendant claims that the fund was never intended to benefit a school like Woodward because not all of the students there are from Quincy, Massachusetts. As of now, the attorney has not taken any further legal action on this matter.
