The Floodgates Have Opened: Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Estate is Sued
After a flood caused extensive damage to Gene Hoffnagel and his wife, Anna Erdelyi’s condo, they are now suing the estate of late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman. Attorney for the couple, Mark Seitelman, said, “They came home from vacation and found the floor was squishy under their feet . . . the water had been leaking into the apartment without anyone being aware of it.” The couple alleges that the flood came from Mr. Hoffman’s penthouse and caused more than $87,000 of damage.
