Bynes Continues Psychiatric Treatment

As I have previously discussed, Nickelodean celebrity Amanda Bynes has spent $1.2 million dollars of her $4 million dollars in life savings. Her parents are claiming that the money was spent in a very short time span. As a result of what her parents believe is excessive spending and misconduct, Rick and Lynn Bynes petitioned the court for a strict, court ordered conservatorship. The judge had delayed the outcome because he wants to speak with Amanda when she is removed from her psychiatric hold. 

It seems like Bynes may be suffering from schizophrenia and will continue to be in the hospital for additional time to respond to her new medications. Reports indicate her mom has been granted a temporary conservatorship. This means that Lynn can determine where Amanda lives as well as where she receives medical attention. Bynes has moved to Hillmont Psychiatric Center in Los Angeles. Since her psychiatric hold, Bynes has stayed away from all social media.
