Charitable Giving Has Increased

CharityBigger companies have increased the amount of money that they are gifting to charities since the beginning of the recession. While this may seem like good news, it is important to note that the amount of money gifted by companies still has not reached pre-recession levels. In addition, which charities they are making gifts to have changed. Companies used to provide gifts to charities across a board spectrum of causes. Now, companies are only making gifts to a small number of charities. In particular, these companies are making gifts to charities that are closely related to the business of the company.
