A Martin County, Florida probate judge recently granted the request to seal the probate file of the late Monkees’ frontman, Davy Jones. Jones’ oldest daughter, Talia E. Jones filed the motion because she is concerned about the public’s access to planning documents and financial affairs and how that access could affect his copyrights, royalties, and goodwill.
Davy Jones signed his last will and testament on March 30, 2004 and he died on February 29, 2012. Since the probate court records have been sealed, we don’t know who is set to inherit his estate.
