Lessons from the Supreme Court of Texas

TX-Supreme-Court Gerry W. Beyer (Governor Preston E. Smith Regents Professor of Law, Texas Tech University School of Law) recently published his article entitled Lessons from the Supreme Court of Texas, Est. Plan. Dev. for Tex. Prof., Oct. 2010. The abstract available on SSRN is below:

Over the past two years, the Supreme Court of Texas has decided an unprecedented large number of cases in the estate planning area. Some of the decisions expand and enhance the law, others explain the law, and one is shocking. This article reviews seven Supreme Court cases plus a few recent non-Supreme Court cases that are worthy of special mention.
