Marley Heirs Seek to Protect Trademark Rights

Marley Bob Marley's heirs have hired a firm to protect their trademark rights in Marley's image.  Unlicensed sales using Marley's name and image are estimated to be $600 million annually, while licensed sales are only a small fraction of this amount.

Appeal for Marley's image has grown steadily since his death, which would probably surprise Marley if he could see how his image is now used.
