GeronimoHere are the details of the lawsuit over the remains of Geronimo based on Nora Caplan-Bricker, Apache heirs sue Skull and Bones over remains, Yale Daily News, Feb. 18, 2009:

      • Plaintiffs include twenty of Geronimo's lineal descendants.
      • Defendants include President Obama, Secretary of Defense Gates, Secretary of the Army Geren, Yale University, and one of its organizations.
      • The lawsuit was filed on February 17, 2009 which was the 100th anniversary of Geronimo's death.
      • The plaintiffs seek return of his remains and punitive damages.  They then will re-inter his remains in the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico.
