Von Anhalt Gives DNA Sample

AnahltYesterday (Friday, March 23, 2007), Frederic Von Anhalt provided a DNA sample in his attempt to prove paternity of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn.  Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband is quoted as saying he is "almost sure" the test will prove his paternity.

Earlier in the week, Larry Birkhead gave a DNA sample in his quest to be Dannielynn's father.  Howard K. Stern, who is listed on as her father on the birth certificate, has yet to give a DNA sample.

I never cease to be amazed at the depths to which some people will stoop in order to be in the public eye. A man married to another woman is claiming to be the father of the child of a dead woman? All the while, we've got two other attention-seekers claiming to be the daddy-one who champed at the bit to give a DNA sample; the other of whom seems to be avoiding giving a DNA sample, and he's the one who had been living with the baby. What are they vying for? The poor defenseless child? Nah. Each really wants to succeed to the decedent's claim against her late husband's estate and to stay in the freakshow spotlight as long as possible. Sickening!
