Morgan Stanley & Massachusetts Settle Charges Related to Facebook IPO

The Massachusetts Securities Division fined Morgan Stanley $5 Million for investment banking’s allegedly improper influence over analysts in the Facebook IPO.  According to the consent order that Morgan Stanley entered into, the practices violated the undertakings made in the 2003 Analysts Settlement.
