More Executives Indicted on Stock Options Charges
Carole D. Argo, former President and COO of SafeNet, was indicted in federal court in Manhattan on charges of backdating stock options from 2000-2006. In Boston federal court, Robert Therrien, former CEO of Brooks Automation, was charged with tax evasion in connection with the exercise of stock options. According to the Wall St. Journal, 24 former executives at 11 companies have been charged with criminal or civil offenses involving stock options.
