Georgia Bill Would Ban Abortion After 20 Weeks Bill: Ban abortions in state after 20 weeks, by Maggie Lee:

A bill filed in the Georgia Legislature would ban all abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, a proposal sponsors call the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

Twenty weeks is the cutoff point, said state Rep. Allen Peake, R-Macon, because “fetuses can feel pain at 20 weeks,” he said. . . .
