A Healthy Future for Women and Girls Globally: Action Summit on Comprehensive Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

The Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications from emerging and experienced advocates to participate in a 3-day advocacy training on comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights in Washington D.C., May 2-4, 2010.
Applications are open to individuals in the United States who live in the following districts**: Arkansas (4th district); Texas (12th, 18th and 29th districts); Georgia (13th district); Minnesota (5th district); New York (5th, 6th, 7th, 13th, and 17th districts).
**A special note about the districts: if you represent an organization that has constituents or serves people in the specified district, then you are still eligible to apply even if you do not personally live in the district. You can locate your district information by visiting www.congress.org and entering your zip code.
Healthy Future Action Summit is free for accepted applicants—expenses will be covered in full by the Center for Health and Gender Equity (e.g. travel, accommodations, dining). Additional background information and summit details can be found in the attached application.
We encourage you to circulate the application to anyone who may be interested and eligible to participate. Young people and people living with HIV are strongly encouraged to apply.
