My Desk

For your viewing pleasure, here is a picture of my desk:

Note the bright yellow-green document in the middle -- one of my students was smart enough to place the colored sheet on the top of her student note so it wouldn't get lost in the pile.  In my humble opinion, a clean desk is a sign that you don't have enough to do.

Ben, since you are a property theorist with a libertarian bent, one wonders at the symbolism that Pipes' Property and Freedom is at the BOTTOM of the book pile.

I guess the whole lawprof community has gone Althouse now: photos of desks on blogs?!?!

Kurt, fair question, especially since Pipes' book is sitting under a book on left-libertarianism (basically a position that argues for both individual autonomy and resource equality). Just an accident of stacking. The same question could be asked about why my property casebook is sitting under my Bus Orgs casebook. Same answer.
