Chinese Master Spies Plead Guilty in IRS TE/GE Bribery Scheme

Laurel & Hardy: Year One – Flicker Alley

I told you more than a year ago that according to DOJ the Peoples Republic of China hatched an ingenious plan to topple the whole network of Falun Gong religious organizations worldwide by infiltrating and then bribing folks over at Tax Exempts & Government Entities. Yeah, two master Chinese spies -- let's Americanize their names for easier pronunciation and call them "Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy" -- were first going to file a 13909 against one of the thousand or more Falun Gong churches around the country alleging that Falun Gong was just a political organization.  Laurel did so and then offered to pay somebody in TE/GE $50,000 plus one half of the whistleblower reward that would surely follow.  Hardy smuggled the bribe in from China and promised TE/GE that there was more where that came from.  All in exchange for the revocation of the particular Falun Gong's tax exempt status.  That little nudge would start an avalanche of lucrative (for the folks in TE/GE) revocations around the country, which avalanche would fatally weaken Falun Gong all around the world and strengthen ChiCom's grip on China.   Except for the name changes, I am not making this up.

Laurel and Hardy pled guilty last week, admitting to the whole Chinese Communist-led scheme.  They each face 25 years.  I wonder if the folks in Beijing's main dining hall would be willing to make a trade for whoever of ours they're holding on trumped up charges.  These two ought to fetch top dollar in the spy trading market.
