A Report On the Obama Administration and the Media

The Committee To Protect Journalists has released a report on the status of press freedom in the U.S., written by Len Downie, formerly Executive Editor of the Washington Post and currently a professor of  journalism at Arizona State University. The report, The Obama Administration and the Press,  highlights conflicts between the media and the current administration, in which the administration often frustrates the press's attempts to obtain routine information. The administration has also increased its own attempts to ferret out those who would leak information to the media.
