Chinese Government May Allow Access To Social Media, Other Internet Sites In New FTZ
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the government of China will allow access to previously banned media and social media sites such as the New York Times, Twitter, and Facebook within a defined free trade zone to be set up in Pudong, within the city of Shanghai. The government may see this limited access as a way to increase foreigners' comfort with the FTZ. More here from the Hollywood Reporter, here from the Los Angeles Times.
