I had a law suit in 2004,against a #1 trama center and large hospital ER & Dr.Because of a state law passed in WV in 2003, no matter what a hospital or doctor does to you you can only sue for five hundred thousand dollars. because of this my brother went to ER with the WORST HEADACHE EVER, where they gave a pain shot & sent him home. The brain anurysem ruptured in his head and now his life is over. he is trapped inside his own body. he can't speak or do anything. I have to tube feed him and turn every two hours. His medical bills were 2 million at the time of law suit. I can't even find anyone to help him now.One Dr told me they just store people like him in nursing homes untill they expire. He is only 44 yrs old now. This law needs to be changed. It is crule & inhumane.
