A Model Code of Conduct for Student-Edited Law Reviews

In a forthcoming issue of the Journal Legal Education (Vol. 67: 2018), Scott Dodson and Jacob Hirsch propose a code of conduct governing the relationship of student law reviews and authors.

The headnotes for the rules are:

  1. Scope and Authority
  2. Pre-Submission Journal Disclosures
  3. Submissions
  4. Pre-Offer Communications
  5. Offers
  6. Expedites
  7. Acceptances and Rejections
  8. Post-Acceptance Conduct

Each rule has subsections and an accompanying commentary.
