Under Seal

An order entered yesterday by the District of Columbia Board on Professional Responsibility suggests that the long-awaited bar discipline hearing for Jeffrey Clark may be on hold a bit longer

                                                                             ORDER

Upon consideration of Respondent’s December 4, 2023 motion captioned “Sealed Consent Request to Seal Motion to Vacate", and it appearing that Respondent’s December 1, 2023 Sealed Motion to Vacate January 9 Hearing and Set 2/1/24 Status contains confidential information, in accordance with D.C. Bar Rule XI, § 17(d), it is hereby

ORDERED that Respondent’s December 4, 2023 motion captioned “Sealed Consent Request to Seal Motion to Vacate” is GRANTED but will not be placed under seal; and it is further

ORDERED that Respondent’s Sealed Motion to Vacate January 9 Hearing and Set 2/1/24 Status is placed under seal; and it is further

ORDERED that any proceedings before this Board or Hearing Committee Number Twelve be so conducted as to implement the order.

The public part of the Respondent's motion

Respondent Jeffrey Clark moves to seal his previously filed Motion to Vacate January 9th Hearing and Set Status. The motion contains private health information on one of Mr. Clark’s attorneys which is not appropriate for the public docket. ODC agrees to this request.
