Klayman Charged In D.C. Bar Case

The web page of the District of Columbia Bar reports the following scheduled bar disciplinary hearing:

In re Larry E. Klayman, D.N. 048-08
April 7-8, 2014, 9:30 a.m.
Courtroom II

Hearings are held in the District of Columbia Courthouse.

The petition (which is not available on line) alleges three instances of violations of District of Columbia Rule of Professional Conduct 1.9 in representing  interests materially adverse to Judicial Watch in the same or substantially related matters.  

It states that Mr. Klayman was Chairman and General Counsel of Judicial Watch from July 1994 to September 2003. (Mike Frisch)

Good job researching this, Mike. So how did you come up with this? Was it leaked to you by your bar counsel buddies in the District of Columbia?

Why the break with your usual policy of not naming names?

So how is Atty. Klayman alleged to have violated R. 1.9?

Given Mr. Klayman's history, this could prove interesting. I hope you will update us with the results whatever they might be.

To the extent I deem it appropriate to respond to the above question, the answer is that I learned of the charges from the D.C. Bar web page.
