With Justice Scalia's passing, I began thinking about his most influential opinions that affect land use law.  Three stood out:

Nollan v. California Coastal Com’n, 483 U.S. 825 (1987)

Lucas v. South Carolina Coastal Council, 505 U.S. 1003 (1992) 

Rapanos v. U.S., 547 U.S. 715 (2006)
