4th Circuit Win for Sex Discrimination Plaintiff

Old dom The Fourth Circuit is not a particularly hospitable place for employment discrimination plaintiffs, so a summary-judgment reversal is news by itself.  Jon Harkavy sends us the particularly well-written opinion, issued on Friday, of Merritt v. Old Dominion Freight Line.  The case involved a woman who was repeatedly passed over for transfer from long-haul to delivery/pick-up driver in favor of less experienced men.
