OK, so it's a tad late, but better late than never. Last week, Congress officially designated October as National Work and Family Life Month. Pushed by the Alliance for Work-Life Progress, the measure was passed unanimously in both houses. According to sponsors' statements, the intent was to encourage employers and employees to seek flexible work environments to better balance the needs of work and families.
