Federal Judge Indicted for Harassment-Related Sex Crimes

Kent Last year, we reported that the Fifth Circuit had reprimanded and admonished U.S. District Judge Samuel B. Kent (Galveston) for having sexually harassed his case manager.  Now, from the Houston Chronicle, comes word that Judge Kent has been indicted "on charges of abusive sexual contact and attempted aggravated sexual abuse of a female employee, making him the first federal judge to be charged with federal sex crimes and the first in Texas indicted in recent history."
