Fed Aviation Admin to Raise Mandatory Retirement Age for Airline Pilots

Faa_logo The Federal Aviation Administration has announced that it will issue a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking later this year to raise the mandatory retirement age of airline pilots from 60 to 65.  FAA Chief Marion Blakely made the announcement at a speech yesterday to the National Press Club, and the FAA subsequently issued a press release.
