AFL-CIO Holds Organizing Summit

The AFL-CIO held an organizing summit Thursday and Friday in Washington, D.C.  The focus was two-fold: sharing organizing strategies and ratcheting up the pressure on the now-Democrat-controlled Congress to pass legislation more favorable to union organizing.  For more, see the AFL-CIO's website and  blog.
