International Law Weekend

As we've written before, at this blog EVERY weekend is an international law weekend.

But this weekend is the "International Law Weekend" (ILW), an annual conference organized by the American Branch of the International Law Association (AmBranch or ABILA), with the assistance of the International Law Students Association (ILSA, the fine people who bring you the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition).

ABILA usually presents ILW each October in New York City, but this year's ILW is entirely online. This two-and-a-half-day conference features over 30 panels, and many of the world’s leading international lawyers, law professors, and diplomats participate. We understand that the audience this year includes legal professionals and law students from more than 80 countries. The conference also includes breakout rooms for ABILA Committees.

The conference is free for law students.

We congratulate ABILA President Professor Leila Nadya Sadat, the ABILA officers, the conference staff and organizers, and the dozens of panelists participating in ILW.
