ICJ to Hold Public Hearings in Nuclear Disarmament Cases

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has announced that it will hold public hearings from March 9-16, 2016 in three related cases brought by The Marshall Islands: Obligations concerning Negotiations regarding Cessation of the Nuclear Arms Race and to Nuclear Disarmament.  The Marshall Islands filed the cases against the United Kingdom, India and Pakistan.  These hearings will address issues relating to jurisdiction, admissibility, and preliminary objections.
