U.S. State Department Releases Its Treaty Priority List: CEDAW, UNCLOS among Obama's Priorities
The U.S. State Department has released its list of treaties that are currently pending before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Click here to see the list.
The Obama administration is seeking Senate action on these (and some other) treaties:
- Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty
- Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW)
- U.S.-Rwanda Investment Tax Treaty
- ILO Convention on Employment Discrimination
- U.N. Convention on the Law of the Sea
- Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support
