Canada-Jordan Free Trade Agreement

Canada Jordan Canada and Jordan have completed talks on a Free Trade Agreement, including agreements on labor cooperation and the environment.  The talks began last year during a meeting between Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

It is a bilateral agreement between the two countries.  It is now undergoing a detailed legal review in French, English, and Arabic.  Following that review, the agreement is expected to be signed and then presented to the Canadian parliament for its review.
