Courthouses are Not Off Limits for Federal Immigration Enforcement Operations

Yesterday, the Department of Homeland Security announced that "sensitive locations" such as churches, schools, and hospitals will no longer be immune from immigration enforcement.  Well, the hits just keep coming.  The Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement has opened the door for enforcement operations in or near courthouses.   

In a letter to the U.S. Attorney General and Secretary of Department of Homeland Security, former Chief Justice of California Tani Cantil Sakauye objected to immigration enforcement operations by the first Trump administration.   Well, here we go again.
