Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is running for President.  Unlike his 2018 campaign for Governor, tough immigration measures are central to his presidential campaign.  As noted by Politifact, "DeSantis now enters the Republican presidential primary as a candidate who goes beyond Trump-like rhetoric and acts against illegal immigration."

As Governor of Florida, Governor DeSantis has made immigration enforcement a top priority.
