Afghan Evacuees Face Complex Immigration Road in US

We have been posting about the plight of Afghan refugees with the Taliban coming.   Aline Barros for Voice of America reviews some of the complex immigration avenues -- including Special Immigrant Visas, refugee status, and asylum -- for persons fleeing Afghanistan.  As Barros summarizes, "The tens of thousands of Afghan refugees who made it to the United States as part of a historic humanitarian evacuation are entering an extraordinary system with very different benefits."
