Washington Post Podcast: To build border wall, Trump considers national emergency powers; Trump to Talk on Border "Crisis" Tonight

President Trump is threatening to call a national emergency to build a border wall. In this podcast, Washington Post reporter David Nakamura explains whether that’s possible, or even legal.

This evening, we will likely hear more about the border wall tonight during President Trump's immigration speech, which will be televised. The speech, scheduled for 9 p.m. EST, is entitled “the Humanitarian and National Security crisis on our Southern Border.”  President Trump also is scheduled to visit the US/Mexico border later this week.
