University of Maryland's Director of the Center for American Politics and Citizenship, Associate Professor in the Department of Government and Politics, and Associate Director of the University of Maryland Critical Issues Poll, Stella Rouse, lays out her claim in WaPo that President Trump's "anti-immigration approach may alienate millennial voters." Ooooh. You had me at millennial. Tell me more.
It turns out that Rouse, and co-author Ashley Ross, have a new book: The Politics of Millennials.
The book is the result of extensive surveying of millennials. Their research shows that millennials, as a whole, hold a "more liberal and tolerant attitudes toward immigration." And that attitude just might turn them off the Republican Party.
