Customs and Border Protection Is Breaking the Law by Refusing Entry to the Migrant Caravan Members

I am surprised that more people are not objecting to the treatment of asylum seekers in the "caravan" from Central America being away by the Trump administration. Katie Shepherd sees the administration's stance as unlawful. CBP Commissioner Kevin McAleenan released a statement indicating that CBP had “reached capacity at the San Ysidro port of entry” and that “those individuals may need to wait in Mexico as CBP officers work to process those already within our facilities.”  Not only does this position flagrantly violate U.S. immigration laws, but it is particularly troubling as CBP is suggesting that the migrants remain in Mexico indefinitely.
