The Road to Naturalization: Addressing the Barriers to U.S. Citizenship

On the eve of Citizenship Day, the National Immigration Forum released a policy paper that further develops our Immigration 2020 Agenda.

This paper, “The Road to Naturalization: Addressing the Barriers to U.S. Citizenship,” jointly published with the New Americans Campaign, examines the current landscape of citizenship-eligible lawful permanent residents and the barriers to naturalization, and it provides policy recommendations to make the process more accessible and affordable to all eligible immigrants.
