Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia (Penn State) has shared, "Reflections on Judge Hanen's Reprimand" at the ACS Blog, in reference to Texas District Court Judge Andrew Hanen's recent alarming order directing government attorneys to participate in mandatory ethics training and disclose the names and addresses of hundreds of DACA recipients who received 3-year work permits.  Writes Wadhia, with respect to the release of DACA recipients' information:  " If the order has a legal effect, unleashing a list of names and A-numbers raises privacy concerns and has the potential to instill greater fear in a community that is already vulnerable to the delay caused by the Texas litigation and announcements by the government to use raids as a tool to detain and deport adults and children who purportedly fall within its enforcement priorities."  In the meantime, millions are people are awaiting the Supreme Court's decision - expected next month - which is expected to determine the fate of DAPA and expanded DACA.
