Immigration Court Completions by Language: The Top 5

Earlier this week, the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) released its Fiscal Year (FY) 2014 Statistics Yearbook.  We have  been providing some snapshots of the the data.

The statistics break down initial case completions in fiscal year 2014 by language (pp. E1).  Out of the 267 languages from the case completions, the top five are

1.  Spanish

2.  English

3.  Mandarin

4.  Arabic

5.  Russian

The top 5 languages accounted for 92 percent of the initial case completions.
