Citizenship Games: Prof. Laura Murray-Tjan


On Huffington Post, Professor Laura Murray-Tjan writes about a client in the Boston College Immigration Clinic -- "Jack" -- who spent almost a year in immigration detention before an immigration court found that he was a citizen, against the government's protestations. During that time, another inmate hanged himself and was carted away on a stretcher, his hand dangling off the side. Needless to say, Jack experienced extreme anxiety while detained.
