Breaking News: Supremes Grant Cert in U.S. v. Arizona

As I predicted in July, the Supreme Court granted cert this morning in United States v. Arizona. Here is the order:

ARIZONA, ET AL. V. UNITED STATES

The petition for a writ of certiorari is granted. Justice Kagan took no part in the consideration or decision of this petition.

Justice Kagan apparently has recused herself, which complicates matters significantly in terms of predicting how the Court will decide the case. For analysis of how the Court might break down on the issues, click the first link above for my analysis.
