Dream Act: California Embraces Anti-Arizona Role on Illegal Immigration

Emerging as the anti-Arizona -- a long journey from the days of Proposition 187 in 1994, California may soon be allowing undocumented students to secure state-funded financial assistance for a college education. The bill (AB 131) is expected to soon reach Governor Brown's desk and he is being pressured to veto the bill.

California Assemblyman Gil Cedillo has been a champion of undocumented students as well as a fierce proponent of driver's license eligibility for undocumented immigrants.
