More DREAMing
Philip E. Wolgin just posted a new piece on Huffington Post about making the DREAM Act a reality. He focuses on how we can make sure that once passed, all those eligible under the DREAM Act have a fair shake at obtaining legal status. By some estimates only 38 percent of all DREAM Act beneficiaries would make it through the process, because of a combination of language and financial setbacks. The article proposes that the advocacy community channel their post-passage efforts into creating a network of fellowships and grants to provide assistance for all of the DREAMers out there.
