The Christinan Science Monitor reports what we all knew was the truth:  "Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer now admits she `misspoke' when she said decapitated bodies had been found by `our law enforcement agencies' along the US-Mexico border."

Still, the damage has been done.  Gov. Brewer's fabrication of the facts riled the Arizona public, helped ensure mass support for SB 1070, and fomented anti-immigrant, anti-Mexican sentiment.  Please forgive me if I do not thank Governor Brewer for correcting the record at this late date.
