Statement by AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka
Here is what the AFL-CIO President has to say about immigration reform: "If immigration reform is to have any chance of passing this year, the Chamber of Commerce is going to have to abandon its insistence on the creation of a new temporary worker program and embrace a solution based on real employment needs. A new temporary worker program in today’s economy would be political suicide, and the Chamber must know that."
