It Must Be News! Postville Prosecutor's Nomination for Iowa U.S. Attorney Questioned

Months ago, ImmigrationProf reported on the controversy over the nomination of Stephanie Rose for U.S. Attorney for Northern Iowa.  Rose had been the prosecutor in the 2008 Postville immigration raid debacle in which hundreds of undocumented immigrants were prosecuted criminally.  Now, it must be news because the New York Times has picked up on the story.  The story includes an important question for Rose:

“Does she stand by those tactics?” asked David Leopold, the president-elect of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the national immigration bar. “Would she engage again in this type of prosecution of scores of undocumented workers guilty of nothing more than civil immigration violations?”
