The Need for Protections for the Mentally Disabled Facing Removal

Nina Bernstein of the New York Times reports on the case of an immigrant from China with a mental illness in removal proceedings. The article refers to a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder asking for stronger protections to ensure due process for respondents with mental disabilities in removal proceedings.  See Download July24HolderLetter[1]
